BKKBN officially launched the 10 Indonesia Commitments of Family Planning 2030. This launching was symbolically marked with the siren button by the FP 2030 focal points: Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P.; Head of BKKBN, Dr. (HC) dr. Hasto Wardoyo, SpOG (K).; Representative of UNFPA Indonesia, Dr. Anjali Sen; Canadian Embassy, Mr. Kevin Tokar; Executive Director of Yayasan Cipta, Dini Haryati; and also Representative of Youth Focal Point, Daniel Wahyu.
The FP 2030 Commitments launching is very important as a dissemination and initial effort in aligning the coordination and involvement of multi stakeholders including youth in the new partnership mechanism of FP 2030.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by each representative of FP 2030 focal points who will fully commit and support the FP 2030 implementation. The Executive Director of FP 2030, Dr. Samukeliso Dube, in her speech, also mentioned about the role of The Motion Tracker as a monitoring tool in the FP 2030 implementation.
The event continued with the panel session by 5 speakers: Dr. Ir. Subandi, Msc as the Deputy for Human Development, Society, and Culture of Bappenas; dr. Eni Gustina, MPH as the Deputy of Family Planning and Reproduction Health BKKBN; drg. Kartini Rustandi, M.Kes. as the Director of Productive Age and Elderly Health Ministry of Health; Dini Haryati as the Executive Director of Yayasan Cipta; and Daniel Wahyu as the representative of Youth Focal Point FP 2030. The Q&A session followed after the plenary.
The event ended with the useful conclusion from Dr. dr. Melania Hidayat (UNFPA Indonesia) and Martin Suanta SE, MSi (BKKBN).
